Since establishing Eco Arc in 1986 we have seamlessly worked with Melanie Thomas and David Ellis who have formed a sister practice called ‘’Earthwise’ specialising in the art of Geomancy.
Geomancy, literally “earth divination” is the ancient practice of creating a harmonious relationship between people, the places they inhabit, and the natural environment.
It is concerned with discovering the unique and subtle influences on a place, using psychic, spiritual and aesthetic awareness. These insights are then used to advise on the most appropriate location, design or adaptation of buildings, gardens, or whole communities in order to promote feelings of balance and harmony.
This practice had profound importance to many cultures and civilisations in the past and is now becoming increasingly recognised as having a significant contribution to make to the healing of our damaged planet Earth.
Our research over many years has led us to find intricate and far reaching geometric patterns in the landscape, and revealed how we can work with this knowledge to assist in creating global harmony through geomancy.
So our aim is to offer practical advice and assistance towards achieving a balanced pattern of living together in a peaceful, harmonious and healthy way, at one with the living world.
As our work has progressed we have made connections with people who share our concerns and with them, have established the Earthwise Network for Planetary Healing.
We see the Network as describing both the people we work with, and the pattern of energies we are discovering together across the landscape.
