co Arc has become acknowledged and respected leaders in the eco design field with a commitment to innovation and technical excellence in sustainable design at the highest level. Eco Arc has been Co founders of ‘Yorkshire Ecological Design Association’, active members of the National ‘Ecological Design Association’ and is active members of the ‘Association of Environmental Conscious Buildings’. We are corporate members of the ‘Royal Institute of British Architects’ and associate members of the ‘Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.’ Eco Arc continually promotes sustainable development across the board within national and regional professional bodies and local interest groups including our local Ryedale District Council Environmental Forum.

Eco Arc’s Teaching & Lecture Programme on Ecological Sustainable Design

In order to communicate the important eco design principles related to sustainable development to a wide audience Eco Arc have participated in a national programme of studio teaching and lectures with regular commitments within schools of architecture at Newcastle University, Leeds Metropolitan University, Sheffield University, Manchester Metropolitan University and York University. Eco Arc also deliver numerous public talks on sustainable development to interest groups including: Friends of the Earth Group, York Guild of Building, York College, Ryedale Environmental Forum and often present papers at professional conferences and regional development seminars.
