Eric is an architect with a Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas, USA and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Edinburgh. He is currently undertaking a part time MSc in Architecture (Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies) jointly at the University of East London and the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). |

Eric is a member of the Association for Environment Conscious Building (AECB), currently acting as moderator for the ‘Literature and Resources’ online forum and assisting with the preparation of 3D models of AECB Silver Standard details. |

| Eric has trained and worked in the UK and abroad before joining Eco Arc in 2003. He has experience in research, development and prototyping of sustainable building systems with the Centre for Maximum Potential Building Systems (CMPBS) and the U.S. Department of Energy. Working for Jeffrey Alan Furniture provided Eric with practical experience of bespoke and large-scale furniture design and production. He has also worked with Edinburgh based sustainable consultancies Thirdwave and Watershed Systems Ltd during his training at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to working with Eco Arc, Eric worked with Simmonds.Mills Architect.Builders, specialists in sustainable design and innovative use of home-grown timber. |
