An Integrated Part Of Eco Arc's Projects Is Working With Brian Stace Bsc Quantity Surveyor, Maps, Planning Supervisor and Project Manager.

Brian has been involved in the construction industry for the past twenty years involved in the profession as a contractors surveyor for many years and for nine years as an Associate of a private practice handling projects ranging from housing, community centres, industrial and office and commercial units. Projects range in value from £50,000 to £10,000,000.

 
Varying contractual relationships have been accommodated within projects but the industry preferred method of Partnering was first encountered in the Oil and Gas Offshore Industry. Brian experienced this first hand being involved with a team that procured the Shell Shearwater project with a value £395,000,000 and also the procurement of an £8,000,000 pumping module for Total.

 

Brian has a particular interest in projects with a high level of energy efficiency and the incorporation of ecological sustainability within the construction process. The projects undertaken include individual homes for private individuals with varying degrees of sustainability including David's House in Monmouth which is totally energy sustainable including recycling of water and rainwater collection for potable uses. Currently the practice is involved with a sustainable visitor centre for a city farm in Sheffield. Brian was involved with the York Eco-centre and twenty low energy sustainable Housing Association homes in York.
