| Andrew is a principal partner of Eco Arc and established the practice in 1986 after receiving a first class honours degree and a special commendation in environmental design for his postgraduate diploma from Manchester Metropolitan University. From the outset Andrew has always had an enthusiastic commitment to ecological design and worked as the resident community architect on the Findhorn Eco Village Project for six years before relocating the practice in Yorkshire in 1992. |

Andrew particularly enjoys working collaboratively with clients to design beautiful and healthy buildings built to the highest technical and spatial standards incorporating best practice in low energy, passive & active solar design, utilising low embodied materials, renewable wind & solar technologies, biological sewage treatments, water recycling systems all within a holistic frame work. |

Lucinda Nelson

Lucinda is a principal partner of Eco Arc and joined the practice in 1991while working on the Findhorn Eco Village Project. |

Lucinda is a chartered architect with particular interest and experience in 'people centred design' and community based projects, which have included designing and implementing a range of consultation processes. Lucinda particularly enjoys working in a close partnership with clients to draw out the unforeseen design potential in each project whether that is a garden room extension to an existing house or a multiple community-housing scheme. |

Lucinda has worked as a project manager for 2 integrated housing, training and employment projects and has experience of fundraising for building projects. Lucinda has prepared 14 successful ESF (European Social Fund) bids and has managed the implementation and monitoring of those projects, 2 successful SRB (Single Regeneration Budget) and 3 Lottery Grants, all of which have involved a wide range of consultations and project management. Lucinda is also a qualified Planning Supervisor with responsibility for the health and safety issues of design development and site implementation. |
